NEW END 2007: Appleton
Steven Little, author of “The Seven Irrefutable Rules of Small Business Growth” was the keynote speaker at NEW END 2007.
2007 was NEW END’S third year, and the regional event was held June 5, 2007, at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton.
The day began with “Breakfast with Steve” at Michiel’s Fox Banquets. Early registrants and Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce & Industry members were invited to participate in a discussion of our region facilitated by Steve Little. As an outsider, Steve gave us valuable insight on new perspectives of our area and what challenges we face as a region.
After a sponsor luncheon at the Meadows, the event began at the Radisson with the “Taste of Entrepreneurship” where the region’s finest culinary entrepreneurs provided tasty samples of their finest dishes.
Networking took place all around the room, including sponsor tables located in the center, where attendees could enjoy the food and talk with sponsors and guests.
Steve’s keynote address was inspirational and motivational. Topics from his book were covered, as well as personal anecdotes and customer service advice.
